Antico Podere Marciano is located in the renowned Gallo Nero Chianti region, in Tuscany, right in the middle between Siena and Florence. It stands in the largest safeguarded cypress-grove in Europe, surrounded by the typical hilly landscape which makes for a feeling of peace and tranquillity. During the day and throughout all seasons, guests can admire a continuous colour variation of the landscape. Antico Podere Marciano is situated 400 mt above sea level and from there you can enjoy a unique view on the Val d’Elsa area and S. Gimignano. Antico Podere Marciano is made up of finely restored double rooms and suites preserving the features of old rural Tuscan houses. Particular attention has been paid to the details, and each room is elegantly decorated with high quality fabrics, antique pieces of furniture, and a stylish and comfortable interior décor. Each room has a spacious en suite bathroom, and some of them have a private garden and an independent entrance. Guests have at their disposal a cozy common room, and can relax in front of the fireplace or at the bar. There is also a small reading room/library area available, as well as the stone swimming pool with hydro-massage and waterfall. The lush grounds surrounding the farmhouse are perfect for relaxing outdoors, also hiking trails and bike paths are available for the more adventurous. You can taste local Chianti wines and barbeque up on the panoramic terrace. Parking is available to our guests.

Both Siena and Florence, two of the most renowned towns in the world for their cultural and artistic heritage, are only 25/30 km away from Antico Podere Marciano. Moreover, there are plenty of ancient little villages in this area, where our guests can enjoy charming walks inside medieval walls and through delightful ancient narrow streets.
